Community Shelter Board Donations

Thank you EVERYONE for your donations and monetary gifts! We were able to collect many items for the Community Shelter Board 2/1/2014 Drive. Below are a few items that were collected:

(32) Tubes of Toothpaste

(26) Toothbrushes

(13) Packs of Baby Wipes

(48) Pairs of socks

Towels/washcloths

And MANY other items that will be utilized by those in need.

Ruscilli Construction - Holiday for Heros

Ruscilli Construction collected items for our annual Holiday for Heros drive in support of our troops during the holidays.  We raised $1500 and were able to send 5 HUGE boxes filled to the brim with goodie bags for our troops!  Thank you for the generosity of our associates and Liz Stafford for her hard work organizing the collection!

Mid-Ohio Foodbank Food Drive & Volunteer Day

The winner of the Ruscilli Construction Mid-Ohio Foodbank food drive is . . . . 

Operations with 1,570 points!!!

Congratulations to the Operations team and everyone that contributed to their success!  Here’s the standings from the one week contest:

• Operations: 1,570 Points and 546 Cans
• Marketing: 1,355 Points and 465 Cans
• Accounting: 818 Points and 309 Cans
• Estimating: 763 Points and 265 Cans
• Housing: 690 Points and 330 Cans

During the entire Mid-Ohio Foodbank campaign we collected a total of 1,988 cans; which equated to 1,366 lbs./meals!!!  We will also be making a monetary donation of $319 when we volunteer on November 22.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s food drive so successful.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated, and will make a difference in the lives of many central Ohio families.

Special thanks to Brandi Gentzel and our team captains; Lisa Vonk, Leann Krompass, Ashley Fournier, Kelly Jones, and Carmen Tipple!  Your energy and dedication made this food drive fun and the the results were amazing =)

Ruscilli Construction & Raymond Memorial Blood Drive

The 2013 Blood Drive was a SUCCESS! We had 15 slots filled and had 5 walk ins. Everyone that participated was able to successfully donate this year. We collected a total of 20 pints!

Thank you to everyone at Ruscilli who took the time to come out and donate to this great cause. 

A Big Thank You to Raymond Memorial for allowing us to use their facility and also for providing food and beverages.

Thank you Volunteers!

A BIG thank you to our RCC volunteers Jim Cetovich, Jim Coleman, and Tom Neidecker for volunteering at the Poindexter Rec Facility on Saturday, 9/14! The exciting event drew over 200 volunteers, who turned the area from a bare playground to a completed center for children and senior citizens. Jim Cetovich and Tom Neidecker spent a good deal of time building a pergola—a shade structure with benches for seniors—while Jim Coleman worked on building the playground.

Thanks again to our volunteers for representing Ruscilli at this event!

Ruscilli Construction Volunteers at the Greater Linden Tire Round Up

We can do a lot by pitching in a little!! Thanks to our Ruscilli Volunteers at the Greater Linden Tire Round Up!

As they say… we can do a lot by pitching in a little. And, we now have proof!!  Thanks to our Ruscilli Volunteers and others at the 4/20/13 Greater Linden Tire Round Up, they collected an unbelievable 9.8 tons of tires in only one day!

Thanks a lot guys for pitching in!  You really made a difference to the Greater Linden community.

Ruscilli Construction Homeless Families Foundation & Dress for Success Clothing Drive

Ruscilli Construction's 2013 Homeless Families Foundation & Dress for Success Clothing drive was a great success!

In addition to the household and clothing items donated, we also raised a total of $650.00 to purchase items from their critical needs list as follows:

Homeless Families Foundation - We were able to purchase enough food to feed 5 families of four lunch & dinner for a week!  Add an infant to one of those families and we also purchased baby food, diapers & wipes for that week.   There were a total of 5 large boxes of donations of pots & pans, plates, dishes, drinking glasses, children’s cups, serving/cooking utensils, clothing, coats, pillows, sheets & comforters that will help those families, as well.  

Dress for Success - We were able to help 7 struggling women with new toiletry items from shampoo, brush/comb, bobby pins, hairspray/gel, make-up bag with make-up and brushes, toothbrush, nail file, hand sanitizer, make-up remover, deodorant & razor.  We were also able to purchase scarves, pantyhose, nail polish, and earrings to help 2 women. 

These items purchased, combined with the clothing, shoes & purses donated, will help these women feel more confident as they return to the work force or when they go on an  interview.
